NEBRASKA STATE EDUCATION ASSOCIATION ENDORSES PRESTON LOVE FOR SENATE

OMAHA, NE – Preston Love has been endorsed by the Nebraska State Education Association (NSEA) in his run for U.S. Senate. The endorsement was announced by a letter from NSEA President Jenni Benson.

Benson said, “Preston Love is NSEA’s recommended candidate for the U.S. Senate in Nebraska. We are pleased with his leadership and dedication to public education. We look forward to supporting his campaign in the coming months.”

Love said of the endorsement, “Public schools are an important cornerstone in our democracy, and I have been a lifelong advocate of public education. I am honored to be endorsed by NSEA as a partner in supporting educators and public education. Teachers and administrators deserve fair wages and working conditions, and students need access to a comfortable learning environment. Our leaders in Washington should be strong supporters of funding and other resources to help students and teachers.”

Preston Love is challenging Senator Pete Ricketts for the U.S. Senate in November 2024. Love is a community advocate, adjunct professor teaching political science at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and a five-time published author who has worked in communities across Nebraska.
